Vintage African baskets are traditionally given at weddings, and fittingly so, as each has a unique design symbol representing life, love, health and happiness. 

Makenge baskets are woven from the roots of the makenge bush and traditionally used to toss maize in rural areas of Zambia. They are durable and were often passed down through generations. 

Due to its handmade nature, no two baskets are alike. This set of 3 is the actual set you will receive. Patina is a rusty brown with taupe grey accents.
