Painted Wall Basket
Our painted wall baskets are hand woven by African women in the Tonga tribe from locally harvested materials such as grasses, small vines, and palm leaves dyed with tree bark. They make the most beautiful display when paired together. Each design is distinctive and remarkable and takes up to 2 weeks to complete, as the craftsmanship is truely an art. Due to its handmade nature, no two baskets are alike.
